Frequently Asked Questions

General & Services

What services do you provide?

We offer end-to-end medical travel planning. This includes free medical report evaluations, hospital and specialist matching, second opinions, transparent cost estimates, medical visa support, flight and airport transfers, local accommodation, and post-treatment follow-ups.

Do you charge a facilitation fee for your services?

No, our coordination and consulting services are free for our patients. Our operational costs are covered directly by our partner network of accredited hospitals.

Which hospitals in India do you work with?

We partner with top-tier, JCI (Joint Commission International) and NABH-accredited hospitals across major Indian cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Gurgaon. Examples include top facilities like Kauvery, Lilavati, Kokilaben, Criticare, Apollo, Fortis, Max Healthcare, KIMS, Medanta, etc.

Medical Process & Second Opinions

How do I start the process?

Send us your recent medical reports, diagnostic scans, and doctor prescriptions via our Whstaspp, website or email. Our medical team will review your case and share a preliminary treatment plan and cost estimate from an expert specialist within 24 to 48 hours.

Can I speak with the Indian doctor before traveling?

Yes. We can arrange a teleconsultation or video conference with your assigned specialist in India so you can discuss your diagnosis and treatment options before booking your trip.

What treatments can patients access in India?

Patients can access almost all major medical specialties. The most common requests include cardiac surgery, cancer treatments (oncology), orthopedics, neurosurgery, organ transplants, fertility treatments (IVF), and advanced spine surgery.

Visas and Documentation

Do I need a Medical Visa to travel to India?

Yes. Patients traveling to India for medical care must secure a formal Medical Visa (MED). Accompanying family members or caregivers must apply for a Medical Attendant Visa (MED-X).

What documents are required for an Indian Medical Visa?

• A valid passport with at least 6 months validity.
• A referral letter or medical certificate from your local doctor in Mauritius, Africa, Bangladesh, or the Middle East.
• An official invitation or confirmation letter from the partner hospital in India.
• Recent financial bank statements as proof of funds.

How long does the visa process take?

An e-Medical Visa typically takes 3 to 5 business days. A regular sticker medical visa processed via local Indian missions or application centers takes around 7 to 14 business days.

Travel, Accommodation, and Finances

How is accommodation and local transport arranged?

We coordinate comfortable stays near your hospital—ranging from budget serviced apartments to 5-star hotels depending on your preference and budget. We also arrange airport pickups, hospital drops, and local transit, including language translator.

Can a family member accompany me?

Yes. Up to two medical attendants (family members or caregivers) can accompany the patient on MED-X visas. One attendant is typically allowed to stay in the patient’s hospital room during admission (excluding ICU stays).

Are treatment cost estimates fixed and transparent?

Yes. We provide a detailed cost estimate from the hospital before you travel. It outlines professional fees, surgical costs, room rent, and expected medication. However, patients should keep a buffer for unexpected medical complications or extended stays.

Post-Treatment Care

What kind of support is provided after treatment?

Once you are cleared to travel back home, we provide a complete discharge summary and translated medical records. We also coordinate follow-up teleconsultations with your Indian specialist and support local continuity of care with your doctors back in your home country
